In a new study it has found that the people who are physically active have less chance of getting stroke and they can also recover better and early from those who are less active.

For this study researchers have reviewed the medical records of 265 people who have average age around 68 and suffer from stroke in the past. Researchers also consider the other factors which might interfere in the ability of people to exercise.

Researchers also asked people to fill the questionnaire about their habits such as number of hours they spend on physical activities. In these study researchers has found that top 25 percent people who exercise more have two and half time less chance to suffer from stroke as compare to those who were in the bottom quarter of the group.

According to Lars-Henrik Krarup, MD, of the Bispebjerg University Hospital in Copenhagen, Denmark, “Exercise is one possible risk factor for stroke that can be controlled”. He also suggests the importance of program and campaigns which create awareness among people about the stroke.
