A group of researchers at Flinders University in Adelaide said that milk might be helpful to cure a disease i.e. cancer. Rite now, the researchers are discovering the task of cow’s milk in curing bowel cancer through a detailed research on 20 participants.
The university has claimed that by the end of the year they are looking ahead to get transparent proof on the role milk could act in increasing the anti-cancer properties of a natural trace element, selenium. In a human test, the cancer expert Graeme Young is examining the advantages of selenium when sent through cow’s milk which is compared with other types of the dietary supplements.
The earlier trials had proved that selenium in milk has the potential to elevate the selenium quantity in the blood. Professor Young claimed that the chemical and yeast-based types of selenium accessible over-the-counter had different degrees of amalgamation and effect on the body.
“So those types of selenium will vary in their capacity to twist someone’s antioxidant condition and the ability to stop cancer,” Sydney Morning Herald cited him, as saying.
“It just occurs when you nourish selenium to cows and they build selenium-enriched milk, the selenium looks to be in a chemical state that is both consumable in the body and also effective in curing cancer,” he further added.
